Derbyshire in Focus 2012

Date taken 21-10-2012.

Ladybower was built between 1935 and 1943, it took two years to fill and was opened by King George VI on the 25th Sept. 1945.
The two bellmouths prevent the dam flooding and during heavy rain the sight and sound of water pouring down them is worth observing.
